EastTexasBassin Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Strike king KVD swimjig, bluegill pattern, with a watermelon/red ragetail craw or ragetail grub. I dip the trailer in chartreuse JJ's magic in sunny weather. If I could only take one lure with me, that would be it. Quote

Chris has built up a reputation of building quality hand tied jigs, so if you had a bad experience with one of his jigs he will do what he can to make it up to you. I have never had a problem with quality, it fact I have a few swimjigs that I have caught over 100 fish on. Quote

And as said before I 100% stand behind any product that leaves my shop, the whole reason I started making my own in the first place was I was sick of shoddy workmanship in everything else I could find in the stores! If anyone at anytime has any problems with my product I want and need to hear about it, I want to replace the product and fix any defects or weak spots in the manufacturing process, if its defective product on one of my vendor sides I want to know about that to so I can let them know about the defect or replace them. If we never hear of any defects or design flaws we keep producing the same product over and over, and that isn't going to get us as a company or you as a consumer better product, which is the end goal!! 1 Quote

Hamby Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 This is one I've been using lately. Its one of my Elite Bullet Grass Jigs. Caught the swim jig addiction from a buddy recently. Gonna be experimenting with that mold i bought from you. The way i typically fish a swim jig, i really have no specific preference. I just work it fast and run it into things. Done well around docks and trees. Throw it in thick cover and work it out aggressively, hitting whatever you can without getting hung up. With a light wire hook, the fish often nearly hook themselves if you work it aggressively. Sometimes the fish want a jig pitched in quietly and slowly worked out, other times you gotta wake them up! I like a 1/4 oz with a quality light wire hook, thin weed guard, and i've done well with the standard single tail grub on the back in varying colors. Quote
GSU_LipRipper Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Buckeye jwill swim bait (trokar) in the craw color! it has a nice purple back that i like in jigs and the actual jig head comes through cover pretty well. I pair it up with a june bug zoom 6inch g-tail worm! Quote
