In previous seasons I didnt give much thought to cranks, this season my 300 series Bandit Pearl/Black cranker is landing big fish for me. Last week I posted a pic of real nice 5+ lb., last night I lost ar 5+ lb (I was sick, felt like snapping my rod in half) howerver I did rebound with this four pounder, nice fish and I nice smaller keeper on a toad

My buddy was throwing Senkos and spinners and probably caught more small fish but its been uncanny the size of the fish I'm catching using this crank. In three trips to a new fishing spot (10-12) acres I have 4's and 5's in the boat and lost a few too.

Lots of fun!!post-34159-0-15905200-1318086959_thumb.j

That's the ticket with the crankbaits in the Fall. I'm sure this new spot of yours has not been blitzed by too many crankbait fisherman,so take advantage of it.

Dude, now I know why they call you BigCat. Your photo says it's a four pounder, But you ain't putting those huge mitts into that fishes mouth. When I hold a four pounder, I can put my fist down its mouth.

No, man. That's some funny stuff.

Anyway, crankbait fishing is challenging but very rewarding.I'm learning how to finesse a crank thru submerged weeds or wood and the amount of bass that will hit it, as it deflects is unbelievable.
