I had to take my boat back to the dealer and the factory for a leaking rivet problem. They had the boat for July & August before I got it back in early September. The factory did a great job including repainting the hull & transom. They also replaced the vinyl flooring & strengthen the transom with a steel plate. All repairs were done under warranty & they did a few extras totally on their own. The first time I launched the boat the big motor would not start, just clicked. But the kicker motor started just fine. Turned out to be a loose battery terminal connection. Missed fishing that day. Next time out I launched the boat & it would not get up on plane. Maxed out at 2000 rpms. Took it back to the dealer & it had two coils burnt out. They replaced the two bad coils & the other four under warranty. So now I have all my boat & motor problems fixed. Not to be. I smelled something burning up at my electric trolling motor. Turns out the trolling motor plug welded itself into the receptacle. With help from the dealer I rewired the new receptacle & plug & trolling motor batteries. Now everything is up to snuff and I can finally go fishing. Got on the smallies pretty good for numbers but no size for two days. Yesterday I finally caught some nicer fish. Here is my two best from Friday.

Steve you know a Opti 250 pro xs when you see one. Good call. and yes the coil problem has been going on for a while. Hopefully they have fixed. My dealer said the recall covered all 6 coils. They covered mine under warranty so I was only out a LITTLE frustration & gas money. :D

Holy Smokes Dwight, you are a patient man and seem to be taking all that is stride.

The payoff, however, looks pretty good ~ really nice smallies.

geez dwight. you need to get them to throw in some seats. having to sit on the motor to fish? :ok-wink:

Mr Mallard it is a heated seat. Sitting on the motor for a picture gets all the boat clutter out of the picture. Just don't fall off.;)
