Well I primarily throw the Rapala DT series and clankin' rap when it comes to cranks.  I'm going to be making a purchase of new mid range ranges 10-16ft.  I'm looking at trying out some other brands besides the DT Series, just looking to see what everyone likes.

Sounds like your looking for deep cranks. I consider mid depth 8-12, deep 12+. I dont know of too many cranks that go 16 (depending on line). I think my DD22 only goes about 16.

You must fish real deep water if you call 10' to 16' mid depth.

The main lakes I fish are about 75' at its deepest, though the weedline is usually at the 15-20 fow mark and I always considered the 20-25 range deep as there are a lot of ledges and drop off and bars that are commonly fished with cranks for northern / musky and walleye in my area.  So just always assumed 0-6 shallow 6-16 mid 16+ deep
