I second the Pyrex, and run it on a VERY low temp setting. Mine took about 3 minutes to melt on level 2 out of 10 temp setting. Once it turns really clear then your good to go!

How do you melt worm plastic in a microwave and for how long?:rolleyes:

Are you melting new plastisol or old worms? There is a difference.

And you must STIR!!!! dont just throw it in and cook for 3 min... you will scortch it and the fumes are toxic.

heat for 1 min then stir, heat for 1 min and stir, repeat... and it will be comes thick and keep repeating the process... after the thick stage it will start to become liquid and ready to go!

*** this is fresh plastisol though.. not if your just reheating old worms

I do a 1 minute at first on new and old. Then I do 30-45 seconds with a lot of stiring. You also need to get some heat stabilizer to keep the scorching down.
