ok guys, i got my 1st big tournament this weekend. the lake is clear and about 70*. weather is supposed to be 60's and partly cloudy. the lake is pretty rocky, no grass, no timber. theres a good bit of shad in the lake. so here what im gona offer them

black cavatron buzzbait

rebel pop r (bone)

zoom fluke (disco velvet)

shakey head robo worm (aarons magic)

venom 3.5" tube (smoke & pepper)

senko (pumpkin seed)

white war eagle spinner

winner winner chicken dinner????

anything else i should add???

If the shad are schooling I suggest trying a double fluke rig. Also maybe try some other color spinner baits like darker colors.

I would have to say get rid of the fluke and find a similar color in the SK Caffeine Shad. I fish both, and both work, but I prefer the caffeine shad over the fluke because the bubble in the tail and the falling action that makes. Also, a swimbait would be a good addition. Slow rolled around suspending fish. Pick your poison on the brand.
