Any of you guys get hassled by people selling trips at bass pro? They tick me off! Every time i go in there, its annoying like leave me alone. Then you gotta talk to em cuz they are sly and sneaky. Bunch of creeps.

I agree. I have even spoke to the manager in Orlando about it and told him how much I hate being bothered when i'm giving his store my money. He acted like he didn't care very much.

Yeah now its like i gotta walk thru the tracker boat section just to avoid these people.

Just do what I do- Pass gas! If it's a guy selling, then look him up and down and say "you're so fine" if it's a girl then look her up and down and say "mmmmm, the things I'd love to do." They'll get the hint and leave ya alone.

We went on the trip, had a lot of fun and had to spend all of 1-2 hours of our time getting talked to. I'm waiting for the time limit to expire so I can go back.

After being pitched by time share people hundreds of times like in Mexico, the people at BPS are rank amateurs, easy just to walk away and say no.

I agree with snook. When you see them walking up, just say you're not interested and ignore them. They're annoying, but not as annoying as BPS's high prices.

A buddy of mine used to be the manager of the trip sales. Their salespeople receive $100 for every trip they sell. Thats it.... Not to mention that BPS puts an extremely high quota on the number expected to sell. Basically unattainable. They have done the same thing to the boat sales department which is why you never see the same salesmen their for long.

Although i agree that it is an annoyance, remember that they are just trying to make a buck just like us. delcine but please use courtesy.

I work at the Marine counter in Bass Pro, Independence...Due to the fact that their little kiosk is about 10 foot away...I hear it all. What they do at our BP is say "Have you gotten your name in for the giveaway?...It's a new truuucck"...Then they hit em hard with the trips. I swear that truck will never be given away. But as far as the quotas go, at our store it's 10 trips per week. Which isnt too unrealistic when they're usually hittin about 9-12 per employee, so they're doing pretty good.

You are correct they did calm down allot in the beginning when store first started opening they did hound you in a way especially when they had that one lady with the blondish hair but lately they haven't even stop me and every time I go in there I have to go back by the tanks for my son. He loves the tank or when they have the TV hook up with the fishing game!

Sfritr made a very good point and I'm glad he pointed that out!!

They're at the Atlanta BPS. I tend to be in a hurry when I'm there, so I just hold my hand up and say "No thanks" as I'm walking by. As Sfritr pointed out, they're just people trying to make a buck, so there's no reason to be disrespectful.
