I know I'm early but has there been any talk/rumors on where the next one might be? I had a great time last year and hoping I can make another!

Are you feeling the itch?

Maybe it isn't too late to tie up a few dozen jigs and mail them to each of the road trip coordinators along with a suggestion or two? Perhaps a brand new design that you could name "Ants in Your Pants"!

It's been in the early planning stages for weeks. I imagine a statement will be issued soon, LOL.

LOL, In a way yes. I'm also trying to start planning next years trips.

I keep forgetting that you live quite a ways south of here. I see that favorite lake thing and figure that's your neighborhood (Duh). It must be nice to be able to get out fishing before the end of April like it is up here.

Anyways a springtime roadtrip for me is perfect as it adds a few weeks to my fishing season. It even snowed here at home during last year's trip! Pretty sure I wouldn't have been on the lakes up here during that week. When ever and where ever, I'll be looking forward to seeing if the trip fits into my schedule again next year.

I'll hurry up and wait.:D

Yeah Lund. My favorite lake is about 10 hrs from the house. I couldn't stand living up there with all the ice and months of frozen! Down here we typically get 1-2 months of the ice. Thats typically about it.

Gentlemen,

As much as we'd like to choose your favorite lake near you (and everyone's favorite nearby lake for that matter), we simply cannot. If you go to the member's map (link is above), you'll see where most of our members reside - and it's pretty clear where the bulls-eye is. So we tend choose locations in that general zone. That way, most people have an equal chance of being within "striking distance" of the event. To that extent, we've already narrowed it down to 3 lakes. We're just researching logistics now.

Bear in mind that Keri and I are in Seattle. So guess who has to travel the farthest? B)

Florida has the most members on the map :P

Okeechobee sounds good. I'll even put you and Keri up at my house for free, just stay out of my ice cream and blueberry pop tarts.

We know Glenn, but we still had to try. We are like Florida strain LM, we don't do well in the cold. :D

Patience guys, we're working on it. Still trying to find the perfect location where the women are young and the bourbon is old. And there has to be a lake nearby. :D

I still say have it at Erie. You can stay at my house.

Boy, is my wife mad at you. When I showed her why you said Rodney, MI didn't qualify for a roadtrip destination, she growled and hasn't spoken since.

On the other hand, I've been enjoying the silence!

Since there are members scattered throughout the entire country is it possible to set up regional or even state get-togethers that are official? I would be willing to drive to G'ville, or something for a Southern Showdown! I will bring the Bullet in case fishing s**cks and charge members $5 towards a raffle or BTD gift certificate!

You are not getting my butt in a Bullet ever again. 93 mph across lake Harris as a Non boater cured me from wanting to go fast.

I could go for a Florida get together. Or Fl, Ga, Al get together. St. Johns river would probably be equal distance for everyone.

How about 80 with a full tournament load with throttle to spare? :D

I really should not be talking crap, I have yet to get the boat since its being picked up this weekend, and I may be to scary cat to push it since I need some valuable seat time, and don't see that happening anytime soon with my back issue.

Yeah. I can't get over 70 in my buddy's without it getting squirrely. He has no issues abusing me as a passenger though. Ever run 85 in the rain?
