6pointbuck2003 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Im new to fall fishing. i have been in college and havnt been able to fish the falls much. But now im out and looking to fish. What are some of your favorite fall tactics? Lure selections? cover/structure? I have read a few articles on here and they have helped some. Thank you for your input Terry Quote
GrundleLove Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Right now I'm liking topwater, wake swimbaits, pop-r's, jitterbugs etc and i mean, you still cant go wrong with Senkos. Quote
fishinkeebs Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 when the water cools down more I really like yo-yoing a lipless crank. That has consistantly produced good bass for me in fall and winter. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted September 21, 2011 Super User Posted September 21, 2011 Texas/Carolina rigged baits on the flats near deep water channels. Quote
Fishmaster10 Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, texas rigged worms, and jigs Quote
BassThumb Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, lipless crankbaits, jerkbaits, jigs, and shakyhead worms have been my most productive fall lures the last few years as water has been in the 45-65 degree range in the fall, with spinnerbaits and jigs being the most consistent. Lately, chatterbaits and small swimbaits have been the best, with water hovering around 65 degrees. Quote
msolorio Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 senkos, t rigged, wieghtless, or wacky, chatterbaits, craw imitators, thats whats worked for me in the past. also, swimbaits, pop r's, lipless cranks, a lot of stuff works if u present it properly. Quote
