Any ideas on how to get what's left of the hub out of the prop?

If you mean the plastic part, I used a wood chisel, a flat screw driver and a rubber hammer when I spun mine. Once I split a side it just popped out.

OK, I'll keep whacking at it, LOL. The top part came out in four pieces. Luckily the brass part is intact, so it's just a $20 part. Just having trouble getting the last cone shaped part out.

Some times it can be a bear to remove. Just keep chipping away is all I know to do. Before the new hubs you had to have them taken out at a shop and new ones pressed in. That was really time consuming and quite expensive.

An aspect of boating that's expensive?
