Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 19, 2011 Super User Posted September 19, 2011 Two down, one (maybe more) to go this year. If we have one later, we can call it the Frostbite Gathering. We've settled on the location, Webster Lake (Lake Chaubunagungamog or Manchaugagog) in Webster, MA. Time to be determined by consensus. It will be in October. The sooner the better. The days are getting shorter, and cooler. So, keeping that in mind, let's hear it from all to pick the date. Quote
GrundleLove Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I can not do the weekend of October 15th...I'm down for the 8th or even as early as the first. its also 1.5 hours away from me.... sigh... Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 19, 2011 Author Super User Posted September 19, 2011 It's about an hour and ten minutes for me. I take 195 to Providence, get onto 95 north for a couple of miles to 146 north. Went there a couple of weeks ago so that time is accurate. Grundle get the other non-boaters to hook up in a car pool. Chances are you'll be taking 495, and could probably beg a ride from Tate or Gramps. Both are just a short jog off 495. Quote
grampa1114 Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Are there any Boaters out there who want to join? We won't leave non-boaters on the beach but we sure could use more boats. Anyone? Anyone? The only thing we ask is that you fulfill any commitment you make. Who knows...you might learn something...I know that I have...C'mon jump in...the water's fine. Grampa Quote
tate Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I live at the intersection of 495/109/16 in Milford and Grampa is only a couple miles away also. Rt 16 runs from Milford right to Webster so anyone that wants to ride with us is more than welcome and encouraged to do so. We'll be making the trip either way so if you can get to my house you can park there and ride with one of us. Tate Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 23, 2011 Author Super User Posted September 23, 2011 All right! Who's in? Maybe the final get together for this season. Don't miss out. We've been going to Webster, and tutored by Gramps so Tate and I should be able to put you on some fish. Nice lake. Plenty of structure and vegetation. The fishing hasn't been bad either. Chime in. We've got one vote for the first weekend in October, which is only eight days away. Gramp and Tate fished Webster yesterday, and Gramp and I will do it one day next week. Don't be shy. No one will be stuck on the shore. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted September 23, 2011 Super User Posted September 23, 2011 If anyone has room on their boat, I'd like to join in, if not, good luck out there folks. Quote
GrundleLove Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Jig. You are going. No question about it. If that means I have to give up my spot, so be it. Quote
Super User Fishing Rhino Posted September 23, 2011 Author Super User Posted September 23, 2011 First come, first served. Jig and Grundle are in. Room for two more. I can fish three from my boat, two on the bow, and one on the stern. Quote

Jones508 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Yes! This Saturday is perfect. I was hoping it would be sooner rather than later. Weather looks good at this point as well but of course that could change. Believe it or not I have caught more than 1 fish at that lake before. Quote
grampa1114 Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 How about it Rhino...You in for this Saturday? Quote
