As many of you know I have been eyeing a Bullet with my business partner as a strict bass fishing boat. So I finally pulled the trigger on a immaculate 2007 Bullet 20 XRD. Here are some pics, my partner will be picking it up early Oct. The boat is loaded with HDS 7 Units with structure scan front and console, LED lighting, Mercury 300XS w/sportmaster LU and Bravo prop, custom rod ramp, hot foot, blue printed pad, competition hull, etc. Going to add a 8' Powerpole and an Atlas Jack plate when I get it.

Well, I see the bass are going to be much safer in your fishing areas for a while now :D :D. However the cost per trip is gonna go up greatly. Very nice, very fast setup, how are you with the Bullet stroll?

I am keeping my gas hog Ranger Intracoastal so if this boat is as fuel efficient as they say it is then my cost should go down, unless I ride around like a crazed man at WOT, which by the way I won't be doing anytime soon, need plenty of seat time and I have a local Bullet guru that is going to teach me the ropes on the handling of this monster. I'll be happy making my 40-50 mile round trip runs with it at 5.5 MPG at 60 MPH vs. 2.5 MPH. Now I can't attest to my business partner he is a go fast type guy that has had plenty of seat time in fast boats. Anyway I figured this boat saved my about 50% over a new boat and its ready to less the Powerpole and hydraulic jackplate. May sell the Ranger though if I find myself fishing out of this more and get use to the nuances of it.

the WOT is what I meant, once you get the handling down. It seems for most, that's about a six week training session. I have to commend you, most who get them seem to spend a hellava lot more time running than gunning until they get the "Bullet Syndrom" out of their system.

They do very well on gas, even at WOT, when you figure you're coverin about twice the distance on the same amount of fuel.

Beautiful boat. Anytime I am over 70ish MPH in a bass boat any more my pucker factor is too high for comfort. Bullets look like they are going 70+ idling away from the ramp! Enjoy.

Dang! THats a fine boat. AInt nobody gonna beat you to your spots lol.

I am really just looking forward to the fuel economy, but being able to zip past people should be cool :D

Thanks Capt Shane, you'll get a ride for sure on it.

I got to witness this bad boy in action yesterday. Pretty awesome watching this fire-breathing beast fly by you at 90MPH with what seems to be about half a prop in the water. Without a doubt the fastest bass boat I have ever seen.

The great Bullet experience has come to an end, didn't really like the way the boat behaved at speed, plus the way the top deck flexed due to it being a comp hull and my partner said it beat the heck out of him on Lake Okeechobee compared to my....18' 6" Ranger! So we traded it in on a boat that is more along the lines of what I wanted to get in the first place, its a 21' 10" Bullet RDC Coastal Edition boat, which is a smooth riding, fast handling, heck of a fishing platform! We will basically swap all accessories including the motor over to this hull from the existing Bullet.

Here is the link to the boat we are getting.
