Has anyone noticed a diffrence in quality depending on where u buy ur hooks from?

I usually get mine from walmart because its convieniant but I picked up some gammys at dicks last night same ones I get from wally world and they are considerably sharper crazy sharp. The ones from walmart are sharp but not sticky sharp like these other ones.

Has anyone else noticed this I remember in economics back in school we watched a video about rapala sends there "failed" lures to walmart so they can be sold cheaper but idk if that's true.

If the UPC on the package is the same then they are the same, if not then they are Wallyworld specials. Wallyworld is notorious for doing this with small appliances (coffee makers, microwaves, blenders, etc.)

The Rapalas at Walmart are the same as anywhere else, at least the ones at the Walmart I shop at, I'd be surprised if the same hooks were made special for Walmart. Certain rods and reels are made exclusive for Walmart that are not available other places, but it could be just a different model name being used for an existing item.

Exactly the same hooks. UPC, packaging, and hooks are exactly the same as those sold elsewhere. Walmart does sell many items that are made specifically for them. Gammy hooks are not among them.
