With the new discounted prices on the 200E7 and 200E5 shimano curados, I thought I would try them. I have been saving and selling some other equipment all summer planning for the "markdowns" to try some other gear.

I have to say, after trying cabelas prodigy reels by daiwa, abu garcia revo s and sx, shimano citica 200D, daiwa 153, bass pro shops pro qualifiers and now these shimano curados, WOW. What a difference. They cast incredibly well, are very smooth on the retrieve, and for the price are clearly the best reels I have ever used.

This is not to discredit the other reels, I really like the pro qualifiers and the cabelas prodigy reels as well. But they do not have the reel of the shimano curados in my opionion. I also have tried the curado 50E and am really impressed with it as well.

I am not a dues paying member of the Posse yet, and since I have two pflueger supreme spinning reels coming, they probably won't make me even an honorary member, but I do like those curados.

Me too.......me too man. I also waited for the markdowns and WOW what a reel bargain those Curados. I have 2 E7 and plan to have more before I'm done.

I like the D series better than the E series after owning it for almost a year now.

However for the price those E series are selling right now it's a deal.Ain't worth the $179 price tag they had on it though...IMO.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by my Daiwa Fuego...I dunno...

I agree, at the sale price they are a steal! Especially the Citica. I wouldn't pay full price for either, but for $40-70 you can't go wrong.

I bought all of mine either on sale or from guys on here that were basically new. I love each one of them and I'm hoping they last like the B's did that are still on the front line in my fishing attack team. :D
