which country would you choose to live in if you had to. Access to bass fishing OR saltwater fishing should be a part of your decision. AND NO, I'm not a fugitive on the run, LOL.

Good question. I think I just like the US too much (Fishing wise) to go anywhere else. I like speaking english biggrin.gif

Very intriguing question though.

New Guinea. Beautiful country, nice weather, and google "new guinea bass". That's reason enough for me right there! :D

Hard to settle on 1 but Australia or New Zealand would not be a bad choices. Lots of avid fisherman, tackle can easily be bought and many types of species to target, fresh and saltwater.

I'd go to Mexico. Margaritas, senoritas, and bass fishing... who could ask for anything more?

Canadians fly to cuba direct for vacation all the time. Toothy fish in the spring summer & fall & then head to cuba for winter.

Of all the votes for Canada, yours listed three of the top reasons I'm with you. And I couldn't care less about bacon or ginger ale!

Mexico is too violent for me to put up with. Too headless bodies all over the place. I think Canada would look nice, but so would Australia and Cost Rica.

Canada would be fun, until it got cold out! I can deal with heat but I just can't deal with sub-zero temps.

Growing up in Detroit we lived minutes from Canada, so many times we fished the Canadian side of Lake St Clair and Lake Erie, I always thought the fishing was better and much cleaner over there. I have made a number of trips to more northernly Canadian destinations, excellent fishing, beautiful lakes and some of the most friendly people I have encountered, I just love Canada.
