Cravin Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I like to use scents on some of my soft baits especially on a 6 inch ring worm. does anyone know of a really good scent that they swear by? Quote
jdw174 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 You'll probably get a lot of different replies here. I prefer "Kick'n Bass" Crawfish scent. I also use some BANG Craw as well. Quote
Super User T-rig Posted February 23, 2007 Super User Posted February 23, 2007 i dont use scent at all since most baits allready come with some kind of scent. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted February 23, 2007 Super User Posted February 23, 2007 On all the best fishing days of my life, my lures carried the scent of human hands mixed with fish slime. Please forgive me for that, but I kid you not. Roger Quote
SwampMan Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Google UpperHand Scents, the Hawg Sauce is what I use in my hand poured lures. The smell is pretty intense! Quote
WABass Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I usually put a little crawdaddy smelly jelly on my hands before I start fishing, but I rarely put any directly on my baits. Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 When I use scent, I like the Megastrike as it comes in a mess free tube. Brad Quote
Bluecraw Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I use scent on all of my soft plastics. There have been some studies (not done by the manufacturers) that prove a bass will hold onto the bait a lot longer if it has some kind of scent or taste. I use garlic scent on everything except my jig trailers where I use a craw scent. I usually use YUM brand. Quote
Triton21 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 I the past I have used Bang garlic and crawfish. This year I am going to try Megastrike. Kelley Quote
