Bass Junkie Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Gambler EZ Swimmer What do you guys think? Smallmouth territory, or to big? Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted August 31, 2011 Super User Posted August 31, 2011 They're not a bad smallie swimbait at all. I used them on the Miss earlier this year with great success. It was that and a Northstar Hidden Weight spinnerbait that put me in check cashing position. It's got great action, too. Quote
MNGeorge Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 We've been using them as soft jerk baits for Mississippi River Smallies with good results. Also, when the nose gets too torn up to use, cut off the tail section...makes a very usable swim jig trailer. Quote
hookingem Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 A 2 pound smallmouth could crush that thing with ease! Deff. not too big! Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted August 31, 2011 Super User Posted August 31, 2011 I agree. Not to big. I bought some big EZ's to use for smallies just haven't tried them yet. Quote
Super User CWB Posted August 31, 2011 Super User Posted August 31, 2011 I agree. Not to big. I bought some big EZ's to use for smallies just haven't tried them yet. They work great on 12" bass up here so I don't think smallies will have a problem gulping them down. Dwight, that fish you're holding could eat a 10" swimbait! 1 Quote
Bass Junkie Posted September 1, 2011 Author Posted September 1, 2011 Thats kinda what I was thinking. As for the swim jig trailer, you are right. I've done that since I got my first pack of the Big EZ's.... Awesome action.... Quote
