PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 Lol! Where, please? I need some bass action? Quote
Super User RoLo Posted August 27, 2011 Super User Posted August 27, 2011 Fishing Cowgirl provided a terse yet accurate reply. The surface water temperature in many central Florida waters is now 100 degs F. or more. Bass metabolism is currently at an annual peak, but muscle response and overall vigor is not. Although most lures will produce during the summer period, productivity is typically modest. In any case, if I were forced to select ONE midsummer lure I'd go with a "Plastic Worm". Roger Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted August 28, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted August 28, 2011 Awesome frog bite this morning on secret lake Y. Where are you fishing that you are not getting bit? I live less than 5 min from you and we are slaying them in the pits every weekend. You can fish Carter Rd, Lake John, Tenoroc, Gibson, Saddle Creek, Parker, Crago, Stahl and a hundred others. You just have to fish the edges of the deeper holes right now with this. https://www.bittersbaitandtackle.com/bitters-vibe.html in blue berry. The last few trips Quote
PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted September 3, 2011 Author Posted September 3, 2011 Well the thing is that I don't have a boat so it makes it a Lil difficult but I've fished saddle creek, yesterday I went to carter rd and to lake john but again off land. I went to shady lake last weekend n my wife caught a nice bass but its a private lake so I can't keep going there, I took my chaNces that day, I'm gonna try and put the pic. Ur only a few minutes away? Maybe we can meet up so u can show me sum spots. I'll be trying tenoroc pits in a few hrs here for the first time so ima try n get sun sleep! Lol! Quote
Fishing Cowgirl Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Many lakes in my area have decent access from shorelines. A couple have boat rentals, where you and the wife can get out on the lakes. I've had luck around grass lines with a jigs and frogs. Good luck ! Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted September 12, 2011 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted September 12, 2011 Lake Parker produced some nice fish this morning. Casting a worm to the small patches of grass. Most fish that we caught were within range of shore bound fishermen. Go to the park on the west side and walk the bank from the boat ramp north. Quote
