PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Anyone know a gud lake to go to for bass in lkld Fl? Quote
MuffinMan Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 yep, they are called the Tamoroc Pits, there are 46 small -medium sized ponds open to the public that were stocked with fish a long time ago, great fish in there! Quote
PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 I was on my way there this morning but instead I went to saddle creek, man it was dead out there. My nephew and brother each caught a small bass on zoom worms but even the guys that were coming out using boats were complaining, lol. I should've went there! Quote
PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted August 26, 2011 Author Posted August 26, 2011 There's so many lakes out here but I hear that all of central Fl is dead right now when it comes to fishing. Quote
oteymc Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 I caught my biggest bass at Saddle Creek a couple of years ago while on vacation. That is a great place if you ask me. Quote
PR_BASS_ANGLER Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 Well I guess everyone has their gud and bad days. I just moved bak to FL from NJ and I'm just starting to check theses lakes out again. I fished a few of them some 6,7 years bak and now that I'm bak, I'm anxious to get bak into some bass action. So if anybody else knows where to go in central Fl, I PREFER NEAR LAKELAND PLZ LET ME KNOW! Quote
Super User RoLo Posted August 27, 2011 Super User Posted August 27, 2011 I too have moved from New Jersey to Florida, but that's of dubious value. Based on my own personal exposure, I'd vote for Lake Eloise or Lake Winterset long before I'd opt for Saddle Creek or Tenoroc. If you're goal is to boat a bass weighing 9-pounds plus, look no further than Lake Kissimmee, Lake Toho and Secret Lake-X Roger Quote
