i was looking for a small water craft to fish a lot of ponds and the creek which is all around my area i have a canoe now but the only problem is when i wanna go by myself its way to much work for the canoe so i looked at kayaks then i came across the pontoon boat things theres so many i saw and well im not a fly fisherman but that seems to be the exact thing i want for my needs but now the only problem is idk which one to choose so does anyone have any ideas or own any input would be amazing cause im stumped but i dont wanna forget im not on a huge budget ill be willing to go up to 500 probably less but any suggestions would be great

As a lessons learned, make sure the pontoon air bladders are polyurethane. Mine originally came with a cheaper material, thus the low price, and they lasted 1 outing before they started leaking and

the boat was unusable. I did purchase some polyurethane bladders for $50 each from the manufacturer.

When we pond hop, my buddy and I use an old coleman 2 man boat made out of "ram-x". It is a 10 foot model and decently stable. If you sit to fish, it is very stable. We both caught our pb's out of it this year. his 8lb 1oz, and my 8lb 9 oz. We both bring 2 rods, and minimal tackle, and use a 40lb trolling motor and one battery. There is also someone that makes wheels to attach to them that make the VERY easy to wheel around, even with t-motor and battery in it!
