Bass Angler To The Max Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Any one else in south florida ( miami, ft. lauderale, parkland, coral springs, palm beach areas ) notice an immediate pause to the fishing in residential areas? Bass not biting. Is there a certain way to attack them this time of the year? Am I doing something wrong? Or is everyone experiencing this boring period? Quote
Future Tournament Junkie Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I'm not from Florida, but could the possibility exist that the Hurricane has something to do with it? Those massive weather systems can do some crazy stuff. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted August 25, 2011 Super User Posted August 25, 2011 ^ No, that is the farthest thing from it. The heat has been a b**** laetly. The fish are biting, just not like we want them too. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 25, 2011 Super User Posted August 25, 2011 The places I fish for bass have been very slow since about June. I could dead stick and catch something but I don't as I'm not fond of that fishing technique. I'm putting in little time bass fishing now. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted August 27, 2011 Super User Posted August 27, 2011 Welcome....................... Quote
Lip Ripper 87 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Sure would be nice if the fish would always bite like we wanted. But the truth is.... they dont. Thats why you need to adapt and overcome tough situations. If your not dedicated when fishing is tough then overall success will be a lower percentage. Quote
