So I bought a scratch off today and won 200 bucks!!! Sweet I know. Anyway the baitmonkey is hittin me in the back of the head with a frying pan. My friends say I don't need anymore fishin stuff, but I know I do. lol Anyways my question is if you guys had $200 what would you buy?

PS

Considering im 21 and no wife/girlfriend/emotional ties what so ever, I dont have to worry about anyone else.   By the way I have a Pinnical baitcaster that I picked up for cheap and I am still trying to learn how to use it. So please no recomendations of baitcaster reels.

First, I would buy another Carrot Stix, then I would use the leftovers for tackle.

Give wife half, she'll get it in the end anyway.  Then maybe you will too. ;)   Spank the Bait Monkey with the rest  :)

agreed on pleasing the other half, I'd take my girlfriend out for a nice evening (a nice evening out is our favorite japanese steak house, running about $50 total), then probably grab another revo S, and maybe some more skinny dippers

Definitely share the money, the "goodwill" is worth thousands!

Yes you do have an emotional tie: bass fishing and .... she jealous !

To tell you the truth, right now I don 't know what I would do with 200, it 's sad when you come to the point where you just stare at the stuff and you don 't "want" anything cuz you already have it.  :-/

He added that part at 11:20 today.  So it wasn't there when everyone responded.

And to answer his question, I'd ditch the cheap baitcaster and buy a Citica.  I grew up fighting a cheap baitcaster and "hating" it.  Once I got back into fishing I bought a Citica and now like baitcasters at least as well as my spinning equipment.

I would put it towards half of a G Loomis GLX SHR822S (I would buy more scratch off's to win the other half).  In your case, I would monitor eBay to see if you could get a great deal on a G Loomis IMX rod (I got a brand new IMX MBR783 for $103 total once, so great deals are out there if you look hard enough)

if your friends think you have enough, you probably do...I know we always want more but in your position I think I would ask a hot girl out for the night for sure  8-)
