I'd like to add some jigs and trailers and was ordering if there were jig kits out there besides BPS..

and is it cost effective to get the kits as opposed to just picking a couple of jigs out?

I just flipped through BPS kits.  Dont wast your money on that. Most of them are filled with fillers and cheap goods. If it was me I would pick out some quality jigs and some quality trailers in good producing colors.

I agree with G-Man, it's better to make up your own kit with quality

jigs and trailers. Use a Plano 3500 - 3700 series clear compartment

box to store them in.

what kind of trailers do you recommend? and what color compared to the jig... light jig dark trailer.. same color etc

I will usually start with the same color jig and trailer, but if that doesn't produce I will go with different colored jigs trailers.

Just simple to start with:

Get two because you will lose some:

3/8 oz Black, Brown &  Green

Matching trailers:

Rage Tail Chunks, Net Bait Baby Paca Craws

and/or GYCB Flappin' Hogs.

GMAN is too humble...order custom jigs through him and you will be set. his prices are excellent and his baits are exceptional. I like net bait and rage chunks for trailers. Keep it simple...black or black blue, watermelon and brown for both jigs and trailers. good luck
