Super User Bassn Blvd Posted August 22, 2011 Super User Posted August 22, 2011 Don't make me go out there and show you guys how to do it. The fishing has been tough everywhere, so don't give up. Quote

That's one of the great aspects of living in a coastal environment, something is always happening. Fishing has been good and getting better and better from now until the end of the year, but not for bass. I've thought about fishing an area for the last 5 years, heard so much about this place but never made there. I finally fished it last week and in does live up to the hype, glad I went, it won't be the last time. Quote

Super User South FLA Posted August 23, 2011 Super User Posted August 23, 2011 You misunderstood..... Someone is on the bass and I am not telling! Sirsnookalot, I slayed the blackfin tuna, dolphin, and lobsters last week in Keys! Fishing was so good that towards the end of the week we decided to call it quits after all the ladies got a chance to reel in a fish, took about 2 hours 1:30 hours of it was travel time to the humps! Gotta love it Quote
ShadeyBass Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 but okeeheelee park sucks right now used to be good i caught 2 dinks at the ski part of the lake i used to catch a ton of fish in there not any more Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted August 23, 2011 Super User Posted August 23, 2011 You misunderstood..... Believe me I did not misunderstand. The majority of people at least around here not fishing from a boat or going to the locations that you do for bass are not catching much and the quality is not there. I have absolutely no desire to fish for 5# & under freshwater fish when I have to battle these gnats, they disappear after rainy season, I can wait till then. I get off shore usually 2 times a week, the other 5 I'm fishing for inshore species, as i say the action is getting good inshore, that's where I want to be. 1 Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted August 23, 2011 Super User Posted August 23, 2011 Ocean fishing alway out performs bass fishing this time of year. I'd be on the ocean too but I sold my ocean boat. Quote
