Super User roadwarrior Posted August 14, 2011 Super User Posted August 14, 2011 Talk about "who cares". Man, can you believe how critical the situation has become in the NFL? There are probably only eight legitimate quarterbacks in the entire league. The situation is so desperate these two has-beens are starting for Minnesota and Tennessee. I'm watchin' this game in disbelief. Quote
detroit1 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 RW- this helps prove that playing qb in the NFL is the hardest job in team sports. Quote
hookingem Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 I was one happy Eagles fan when we let Mcnabb go! Quote
Jim_M Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Outstanding O-Lines make average QB's good. And good QB's great. The league has a lot of "average" QB's. We'll just have to see how the season plays out. Offensive Line. It's everything. Jim Quote
Super User Marty Posted August 14, 2011 Super User Posted August 14, 2011 I wouldn't write off these two just yet. I think they can both be pretty decent if they are healthy and have a reasonable amount of talent around them. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted August 18, 2011 Super User Posted August 18, 2011 There is definitely a shortage of quality QB's in the NFL. I think some of the teams that signed these "QB's" this year are hoping to get pounded all season so they can get Andrew Luck in the draft. Seattle signed Tavaris Jackson? LMAO. 49ers re-signed Alex Smith? Again, LMAO. The Raiders have Jason Campbell starting....again. (The Raiders are killing me by the way.) Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 18, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 18, 2011 49'rs were looking at Culpepper for awhile there. They didn't sign him, but I expect another NFL team to pick him up. It's a seller's market out there. Quote
