Flouresent Line

I got some flourescent line for night fishing and spooled it on ne on my reels, well now that my night fishing trip is over i still have the line on the reel. my question is, is flourescent line good to use in the daylight too ?

my opinion.... you'll be fine unless the water you fish is super clear...even then if you are fishing a fairly fast moving bait...crankbait..etc. you will be fine.

i have a set up with that type line for my night tournaments and i was using that rig when i fished a super clear stripper pit this week and caught 10-12 using a scrounger head rigged with a strike king baby rodent...sideways..

so i think there's no reason to take that line off. imo

I don't like to use it but like bassin said it shouldn't affect your fishing unless you're in super clear water. I just always figure that even though the water is dirty it doesn't hurt to use clear or fluoro.

I fish clear water all the time, and use c/b/f XL on 4 of my rigs. I can see hits easier in bright sun or overcast skies, so it works for me. Does it alert fish? i don't know, and i don't care.

don't give the fish that much credit.line visibility means nothing.i fishred yesterday on a very tough day and caught 5 bass in 11 hours on braid with no leader.my buddy used flouro and caught 1 fish.

I was wondering the same thing. I used to use the XL clear/blue fluorescent always, because it was so easy to see. I switched to clear only thinking it would help, but I can't tell if it has or not. I caught fish before. I still catch them now, but sometimes the quality of the fish is better, and maybe also the number caught is better at times........but, I think that has as much to do with the me learning and just getting better at fishing as it does with changing lines. I think I'll go back to the clear/blue for a while and see if I can tell anymore about it. I know it sure would help with seeing the line at times. My eyes aren't as good as they could be.
