RangerEnthusiast Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Got a Live Target Crank Bait in the mail today, has anyone used these before? Quote
Packard Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I only have the GIzzard Shad one. I caught 15 bass in a day with it. I cranked it today for a little bit and got a dink. It works good, nice action, nice wobble, and it has sharp hooks. Quote
endless Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 I have the gizzard shad and the pumpkinseed. I only caught one fish using the pumpkinseed. Quote
RangerEnthusiast Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Where they Shallow Diving? Medium Diving? Deep Diving? Quote

brushhoggin Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 i picked up the 1/4 oz shallow diver bluegill crankbait on a gift certificate not too long ago and catch the crap out of em with it.it behaves much like a squarebill, deflects easily. Quote
RangerEnthusiast Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 Yea the Bluegill 1/4 oz 3 to 4 foot diver is the one I got. Ready to try it out and see how it does. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted August 14, 2011 Super User Posted August 14, 2011 Yea the Bluegill 1/4 oz 3 to 4 foot diver is the one I got. Ready to try it out and see how it does. I surprisingly picked the same one out last weekend. I have a small lake here where bluegill is the main forage for the bass. It's not a deep lake by any means. The bait looks like a winner for this lake, but we'll see how good it'll work. Might help me gain some confidence in using crankbaits too. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted August 15, 2011 Super User Posted August 15, 2011 As with most baits, they work when the time and conditions dictate. I've caught fish on all of the Koppers cranks in various situations. They all work in the right conditions. Quote
