Bobby Uhrig Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 HMMM i must be out of the loop -I found out Bubba "HighTower" Smith passed away at the age of 66. That was a bad dude -but a gentle giant Rest in peace Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted August 11, 2011 Super User Posted August 11, 2011 ESPN really ticked me off with their handling of the story. I was watching SC the night he passed, and those !&*(&^$#$^)^$ spent more time on what Lebron had tweeted that day, than they did with Bubba. Quote
Super User Sam Posted August 11, 2011 Super User Posted August 11, 2011 I remember him in college, the pros and then enjoyed his acting in the movies. Very upsetting to see a person who worked all of his life to be in tip top shape have a heart attack at the young age of 66. He left us too early. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted August 12, 2011 Super User Posted August 12, 2011 "Kill Bubba kill." Michigan St. chant on games played at home that year. If memory serves me right that was the year (1966) of the controversial tie game between Michigan ST. and Notre Dame. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted August 13, 2011 Super User Posted August 13, 2011 He was awesome... both as a player and as "Hightower". Loved those movies when I was a kid. Quote
