Brand0n Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I caught a 4lb bass a week ago and it looks healthy other than the red on the fins and tail. What would cause that? Quote
TouchTooMuch Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 Im pretty sure its a disease, I caught a walleye once that had that Quote
Super User J Francho Posted August 5, 2011 Super User Posted August 5, 2011 Low oxygen, high ammonia, or nesting activity can cause red fins. The first two items are common maladies when carried in a livewell. Quote

North Ga Hillbilly Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 I recently caught one with red fins, the fish ended up dying on me, so it would make since that the fish was already unhealthy, tho she looked perfectly fine other than the fact she was dead. NGaHB Quote
