What was everyones first "real" gun and I say "real" cuz I don't wanna hear red rider bb gun though they are guns and equally as dangerous in the wrong or even right hands.

Mine was a Winchester Model 69A bolt action I got when my great grandma passed. The gun belonged to my great great great great grandpa. It needed to be refinished and touched up but it was my first gun took me a year to rebuild it at age 9 with my friends dad its nice little .22 I plan on passing down along with my other guns.

The first shotgun my dad bought me was a Marlin Model 59 .410 Bolt action single shot (still have it); I’ve killed ducks, geese, squirrels, rabbits, & even deer with it.

First one was a Ruger 10/22 with a mannlicher stock. I still haven't looked up what year it is but it came from a fishing/shooting partner who is like family.

The first pistol came about 1 month after the laws changed in Chicago, a Sig Sauer P226 in .40S&W. While not from a family member it represents a victory for all gun owners.

Neither one will be going anywhere.

Mine was a Winchester model 100 20 gauge. Shot lots of squirrels, rabbits, quail, and dove with it in between gun jams  I don't have it anymore and I really don't miss having all my buddies shooting doves that were flying over while I was still trying to get a jammed shell out.

My first gun was New England Firearms single shot 20 gauge. Shortly after that I got a single shot bolt action Marlin .22LR.

I don't have either gun any more. The Marlin went to a family member's young son to start shooting and I sold the 20 gauge when I turned 18 to help fund an 870 Express Super Magnum.

Same here. I got it for my 10th birthday. I shot my first quail (and many others) with it, and I still have it to this day. I sure wish the quail numbers were as strong as they were back then.

My nephew has one my fatherinlaw sawed the barrel off on its now 18.5inches just legal and what a POS same prob but probably worse being sawed off everyother shot is a jam. I thing the last time he took it out I spent more time with a multi tool in the gun then a live round aimed at squirrels.

I think you may be confusing it with a different model. The Winchester Model 100 is an autoloading rifle, not a shotgun.

Looks like you're right, can't find anything about a Winchester model 100 shotgun. After looking I'm pretty sure it was a Model 12 because it had the same ugly fore grip like this gun.

Mine was in no where near as good of condition as that one though

Same thing for me as well. Took my first dove, quail, duck, and deer with it. Got it right before dove season when I was 8.

My first gun was also my first super deal. We were at an auction and I saw a double that was "just like Grand-Dad's." I'd saved calf money for the year intent on buying a new Winchester pump, but it was love at first sight. I talked my uncle into bidding it for me, and I got it on two bids. The long and short of it is that it is a AH Fox Sterlingworth 20ga 28" bbls. I paid $1,000 for it then, and it's worth over $7,000 now. Not a bad investment.

My first gun was a Marlin Golden Mountie 39A 22 cal.

I can say with much regret that I do not own this gun anymore but, am always on the lookout for marlin 39's.

Chambering shorts, longs and long rifles, it was the best 22 plinker/accurate shooter I owned to date.

I love lever .22s there so much fun to plink with my best friend has a 39a we used to shoot golf balls with it seeing how far we can get it across the pasture plinking away. Plus they make great squirrel and rat guns that little lever .22 killed a lot of rats outa the grain room.
