I live in Algonac on the north channel and last year I was fishing St. Clair regularly. This year, I haven't fished it once. I'm thinking next week Monday I'm gonna do some early morning fishing in Bouvier Bay. So hows fishing been?

I realize that this is late but, yes, we have been fishing LSC often this summer. We are at opposite ends of the lake though. We fish the south shore from The Detroit River through to Stoney Point, from shore to prob 5 miles out...big area. Tubes have been hit or miss but craw brown with gold flake and, lately, white have been outproducing the 8-10 colours that we throw. Also gobies, like poor boys, have been doing very well on a dropshot, carolina rig (my fav) and a goby sled jig head. Best goby colour for us has been cucumber. Last few trips, the dropshot with a minnow (hawg shad) has been producing more. Overall, nothing has stood out between rocks/weeds. Prob caught more big fish from rockpiles though.
