Hey guys! I use baitcasters for just about everything but I’m having a hard time using them for skipping and night fishing for bass in my pond. I decided to buy a spinning rod and reel. I went with a Duckett 6’-6” MH and a Shimono Spirex FG spinning reel.

Since I’m a beginner, I have been using mono for the baitcasters but I’m thinking this setup would be better with something other than mono. My plan is to use it as an all purpose spinning setup for catching bass at night and skipping under docks. They get up to 12# in my pond.

What fishing line do you guys recommend? Thanks for your help! :D
