Super User Root beer Posted August 3, 2011 Super User Posted August 3, 2011 I graduate in May and I'm having this strong desire to go to Colorado after graduation. I may go on vacation and never come back. I've been looking into graduate school in Colorado, but I haven't check the job market out there yet. I cannot decide whether to go there on vacation and come back and finish my master here then go back, or just wing it and go to Colorado and see what happens. I still haven't register for GMAT. I have looked at some math problems and done small amount of prep work to familiarized myself with the exam. I kind of lost my motivation for it at the moment. Just one of those week where all of these options are flooding my head and rational decisions are getting clouded by emotions. Quote

Mike 12345 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Good luck to you. I've been trying to get back since '89. I've visited many times, spent a year in Ft. Collins at Colorado State, and had way too much fun to concentrate on bothersome school work. I was thereby 'un-invited' to return, and had to finish school elsewhere. Ahhh....I can still smell the air. Nothing like Colorado. Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted August 4, 2011 Super User Posted August 4, 2011 I love Colorado...but visiting and living there are two different things. Best of luck man. Nothing like Colorado. Visit Lesotho Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted August 4, 2011 Super User Posted August 4, 2011 I would suggest that you drop out of school for the time being, move to Colorado, and live off the land, hunting and trapping. In the winter you can become a ski bum, living off the proceeds of your hunting and trapping ventures while cultivating a little "herb" for medicinal use. Talk about a Rocky Mountain high! On the other hand, you could get your head out of your arse and finish up with your studies. 1 Quote
Captain Obvious Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hey detroit1 didn't you hear that L.Mike has decided that he is personally going to set my generation straight all by himself. On the the other hand Colorado Springs is a great place. If you move there realize your are not allowed to complain about your lakes being iced over and not being able to fish till July. Capt.O Quote
