I dont think so. I use Power pro in green and red. My buddy swears by yellow. In both cases we are using fluorocarbon so the fish never see it.

I use it for visability so white and hi vis yellow are my colors with or without a leader.

I don't the the fish care one way or the other. I use green PP and mostly fish in the dark, no problems for me. I do have 1 reel I use offshore with yellow PP for daytime use, I just like the way it looks on the reel.

If you're line watching, swipe 1/2 the spool with a black marker. It's gives the line a breakup pattern, and you can easily see line movement.
