dhami013 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Over the past year and a half my interest for bass fishing has sky rocketed. If I'm not fishing, I'm thinking about fishing, if I'm not thinking about it, I'm asleep and I'm dreaming about it. I have an addiction. I'm constantly on the water whenever possible. And if I'm not on the water or at work well then I'm at home and on the computer. It's safe to say that 97% of the time I'm on the internet I'm on this website. Thanks all who made it and make it possible to use this site. And thanks to everyone who contributes to the information on this site. Best forum I've ever been to, and since I got here. I haven't looked for another one. Tight lines Gents. Quote

WdyCrankbait Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 LOL, Great comments! Yeah, you got to watch out for those Rage Tails, Hookingem put me on them. First cast 3.5#. "The first step is admitting you have a problem..." That is awesome!!! But, we are going to have a 7-step process for becoming a better fisherman. Quote
LWD Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 I got addicted a few months ago and still haven't came down. Thanks to this site I can stay knowledgeable. Quote
North Ga Hillbilly Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Aversion from any sort of top water is a must. The first time you see a 5+ pound fish slam something topwater, and then see her jump four or five times during the fight duer to her having already been so shallow... You might as well give up the house and get a canopy for your boat, that's your new home. NGaHB Quote
Super User South FLA Posted July 31, 2011 Super User Posted July 31, 2011 Best addiction ever, keeps you out of trouble and it is accepted by society, on second thought the first part is not necessarily true Quote

I've been hooked on Zoom plastics and Spro frogs lately. I've never been too hard core into cranks, but lately my collection has been growing. I had to buy a bigger tackle box this season. She's a beefer. But I'm lovin' life and livin' large. Fishing is what keeps me going. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted July 31, 2011 Super User Posted July 31, 2011 There are definitely far worse things to be addicted to. I will say this though, fishing can get downright expensive once you get the full blown bait monkey on your back. You'll know this has happened when you put your wallet in your pocket and it starts to burn you on the backside. Quote
