My buddy was telling me about this Monday, some of these guys run too fast in those narrow canals.

Save it for the lake, there's no room for error out there, I lost it in a 14 Jon boat with a 25 horse by the Fingers a 100 years ago, shot me up into the bushes, I had to get out and pull the boat back into the canal. It was the best thing that ever happen to me, as I graduated up to faster boats I was always careful.

I'm surprised more people aren't hurt.

There is a updated story in the Sun Sentinel today asking for help to try to indentify who might have been driving the boat. They were not able to locate anyone as of today. They found food and fishing poles and the key in the on position. I would have to assume the boat did not have its hull number on it.

I wonder what size boat it is, no numbers? Weird.

The picture I saw looked like an 18-20ft boat with about a 200hp on it. The shot was taken from the rear so you couldn't see if it had numbers...

How about a truck and trailer parked at the ramp for the last week?

It is quite strange

.... and no reports of missing people or missing/stolen boats. Strange indeed

That boat looks like a suicide boat.

Maybe a faked accident to hide from his wife?

Sad story if somebody did die, which is what it sounds like. Definitely odd with no numbers on it though.

I don't know if it's just the camera angle, but man that engine looks huge for that boat.

mmmm.....most bass boats look ridiculous like that LOL, check out the VMAX SHOs on the back of some of the newer boats, looks like if you put it in the water the bow would just point straight up and it would sink like in the cartoons.

I wonder if there were any numbers on it? Someone would've turned up missing by now i'm guessing. Speaking of the Alley, I was out there Saturday afternoon and the fishing was horrible. I should've taken the hint by how few trucks were at the ramp.......
