The silent RES and the silent series 5 are both really good baits. I like the vibration I get from the RES without the loud rattles in clear water.

The vibrations drive the smallmouth crazy. They really key in on it and attack it ferociously. I think the vibration mimics schooling shad very well.

I had some success on a 1.5 before it feel victom to a schrub along the shoreline out of reach.

I've had some success with the 2.5 as well. Bluegill and Sexy Shad and Sexy Sunfish have been my best colors so far.

I been throwing the 2.5 in sexy shad a lot and have really been killing it. It is easily my favorite lipped crank that I have. Earlier today I got 5 fish in 5 casts on it. That was really cool since that is somewhat of a rarity for me unless using like a drop shot or some other kind of slow finesse presentation where I can really take my time and just pick them off 1 by 1.
