Does anybody have any experience with the Carrot Stix Wild? I picked up a 7' Medium today for fishing the Pocomoke River in MD. Almost every review I read on them has been positive so far, just looking for any extra opinions.

I don't find them to be very sensitive and the hook keeper is in a terrible spot. I was looking at the Carrot Stix and the BPS Xtreme at BPS a week ago and opted for the Xtreme.

How did you know how sensitive it was in BPS?

Put it up to someones throat and have them talk and see how sensitive the vibrations are :D

The BPS guy did it for me

My brother in law has the 7' medium spinning. It's relatively light but.... the reel seat is uncomfortable, he was getting blisters holding it until he wrapped it in tape. Also the sensitivity just isn't there. I told him to get a Dobyns Savvy when he got that thing in the spring, didnt listen. He ordered a Savvy yesterday to replace it. Much better sticks our there in the price range.

I fished with the 7'3" MH and really liked the rod, lighter than a 706 Veritas. I used it for Ikas/Senkos, Buzz Toads and Jerkbaits and it worked very well for all those methods. However the hookhanger is perhaps the worst design/location in the history of hookhangers. Especially if you have big hands and are using a treble bait (ouch). If cutting it off a new rod would be something you'd consider go for it, I almost did. I ended up returning it and getting a lightly used St. Croix Avid.
