Super User K_Mac Posted July 19, 2011 Super User Posted July 19, 2011 Mine is a 7'MXF Pro Qualifier rod matched with a 6.4:1 Pro Qualifier reel and 12# CXX (moss green). If I could only take one combo (heaven forbid) this would be it. Quote

FourCorners Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 St. Croix Avid 7'0 MF Shimano Curado 200E7 Seaguar 12# Invizx Might not be my nicest combo, but it's definitely the most versatile. I've thrown everything from flukes, to 1/4 oz. jigs, to even a light carolina rig. Certainly tops all my combos in terms of # of fish. Quote
WanderLust Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Shimano Curado 51E G Loomis BCR803 GLX 12# Tatsu ^^^ Such a great lightweight plastics rig Quote
Fat-G Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 The more I use my favorite the more I appreciate how much better the Zillion is than any reel I have ever had. Daiwa/Dobyns for me. Quote
Bronzeback Scuttler Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 NRX 852s with a TD Advantage 2500, 10lb Invizx. Killer weightless plastics combo. It seems my other rods are just along for the ride. Quote
BassThumb Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 My favorite setup would have to be either the Dobyns Champion 734C or 735C, matched with a Abu Garcia Revo STX. I have two of each setup, and on most trips, at least half of my fishing is done with one or the other. They are very versatile. Quote
Super User tomustang Posted July 20, 2011 Super User Posted July 20, 2011 Though it's in my sig, my favorite setup changes when more money is available Quote
Red Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I really enjoy using my Lamiglas Excel 703C/Revo S-L the most, but this time of year it has to be my flippin stick. Lamiglas Excel 7116C/Daiwa Viento/50lb PP. Quote

stkbassn Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Hey Y'all, I know that when most of us go fishing... we got a mess of rods on the deck, and each one has its place. Just curious, which one out of that whole tangle of poles do you like using the most? and Why? What kinda rod, reel, line make it up, and why do you like using it so much? C-K Right now I'd say my Castaway 7'10 DD22 Crankbait Rod paired with a Shimano Curado 200DPV...Awesome combo for deep cranks!!! I mean awesome! Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted July 20, 2011 Super User Posted July 20, 2011 Right now it's my Gander Mountain GSX Titanium 7'2" H/F paired with a Carbonlite and 40# Sufix 832. This thing is a mean jig machine. It also does well with pitching, but I don't do that as much as I should. Quote
I.rar Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 fenwick elite tech river runner 6'8" light/fast shimano saros 1000f 20lb sufix braid w/ 6lb cxx leader. i love light taclke. Quote
