It happens every year at this time. All seasons are open and everyone is fishing. They will be back when the leaves change.

Summer time too many things to do out side not a good time to be sitting at the computer. When the cold wind from the north blows and the snow is flying it is a much better time to stay inside and talk fishing.

Yeah everyones on the water or golfing I'm guessing I have noticed there's more late night posts though atleast seems that way for me on the east coast when I check in the morning there's a ton of new posts made at like 3am

Yea lots of people out fishing or doing something and people on vacations with families. I'm just on because I can get on while I'm at work and there isn't much going on here between midnight and 8 so it's a big help to pass the time!

For us guys on the West Coast it's only midnight, so we probably just got back from fishing or are about to head out again after a little break.

Summertime is the opposite for me, less fishing. Attempted to bass fish 2 times this week and lasted only 10 minutes each time, the gnats have been overwhelming this season. Summer is my least favorite time of the year for fishing, although the inshore fish do run bigger. I'm still fishing 7 days a week, but pretty much only in the early morning, no serious bass fishing until the end of the year.
