Primus Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 " Just got paid today, I got me a pocket full of change". Your post reminded me of one of my favorite ZZ Topp songs. Now back to Bass fishing, looks like a nice list of baits I'm sure it will catch you a lot of fish. Quote
hatrix Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Not a bad list except the possibly some rage tails should be a definitely some rage tails. Also if you getting a lipless you should check out a red eye shad unless you already have one. Quote
Stasher1 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Not a bad list, but if you go looking for Rapala Rat L Traps and a Rapala Torpedo you'll be looking for a long time. It's a Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap and Heddon Torpedo. Quote
flippin Dan Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 You need 2 of everything in case they are hitting it good and a big one breaks the first one off. That is my theory and what I tell my wife anyway. Quote
bassin is addicting Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 good starter list... i would add a few curly tail worms....powerbait 7" or zoom u-tail work well for me good luck.. Quote
philsoreel Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Try the Spro Aruku Shad lipless. I just recently started using them, but I already like them much better than rapala, red-eye shad, rat-l-trap. Xcalibur is another good one. Still, second to the Spro in my opinion. Quote
Packard Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Have you tried any of the Live Target lures? They are pretty expensive but I've caught a lot of largemouth and some pike on the gizzard shad crankbait. I also like the KVD square bill crankbait by Strike King. I have the sexy shad color and it has a real nice action. Looks like a nice list though. Quote
