Quillback Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 The only one I have tried is the Pit Boss, it catches fish. I like Black/blue and green pumpkin. Quote
Indiana Bass1 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I've used the pit boss and the craw both in green pumpin and they both caught fish. I was pitchin both of these baits into heavy cover. I tend to like the pit boss more for pitchin it seems to get in and out of cover a little better. The claws on the craw seem to tear off easily. Quote
dhami013 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I tried out the Devil's Spear today. I like it. It's a good pitching bait as well. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 15, 2011 Global Moderator Posted July 15, 2011 I like the Pitboss in big texan and green weenie (purplish/greenish color) with the tip dipped in chart dye, that color imitates the juvenile bluegills around here perfectly. I also like the Fatty craw in black red flake but I don't fish it in as heavy of cover because it doesn't seem to get through it very well. Quote
bassking1976 Posted July 15, 2011 Author Posted July 15, 2011 thanx guys was actually leaning towards the pit boss so its good that 3 of u have tried and liked what about that bobby lane swimbait i believe its the grass pig(kinda like a skinny dipper or cane thumper) anyone try that one yet. Quote
MNGeorge Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Grass Pig in Swamp Gas has produced some Smallies for me on the river. They have pretty good swimming action and they hold up fairly well. I've fished it on a weighted swimbait hook (Moaner, of course) and also on a Sling Blade Flutter...caught fish both ways. Quote
