OHIO Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 First of all, I'm extremly happy I caught this fish, but extremely mad at what happened after. When I got this thing on shore my hands were shaking so much from adrenaline and couldn't get a good picture with my phone. The quality is good, but the angle is crap. It looks like a three in the pic. What's even worse was that my scale was on the other side of the pond and I had to run over to get a weight. I ran over as fast as I could, but still couldn't get the weight. The fish really needed to get back in the water and I didn't want to risk killing it. Anyway, here is how the day went. Started off throwing a Rage Craw into some timber with no luck. Not even a tap. I then changed to an old white buzzbait that I've had since I started bass fishing. The day was great from then on. I caught three fish in about 30 minutes with the second being my Personal Best. Lost another that was as big, if not bigger, than the second fish. Got her up to the bank and she came off as I was about to lip her. I guess I can't really complain because I caught my new PB, but I didn't get a weight and the picture isn't worth a dam. This fish was closer to 6 than 5. For reference, I could fit my fist in this fish's mouth. Quote
