Fat-G Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 For the past couple of years, it really hasn't been that bad in Va. We'll have the occasional 95-100, but usually 80's. Quote

David301 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 its early morn or late eve/night here in Maryland who else feels it?? The mornings, evenings and nights have been very slow for me down in southern maryland. I do most of my night fishing around 11pm, maybe i should push it back some and try around 2 pm. Quote
tholmes Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 108 here in central Kansas yesterday. It's predicted to be over 100 for the next week or so. Early mornings and late evenings are the only times that it's even worth going out. But I've still been catchin' some bass. Tom Quote

OHIO Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 It's 90 here in Shelbyville, KY where I am now. The weather channel says with the heat index it feels like 107. Just got done laying cement and trimming every low branch in a 5 acre field. I am exhausted. Quote
OHIO Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Heat index is up to 116 now and I'm about to go fishing. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted July 12, 2011 Super User Posted July 12, 2011 You went from late iceout to that pretty quick. Yes Sir, we did. And I'm not complaining, I'm just saying . . . . A-Jay Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 13, 2011 Super User Posted July 13, 2011 It's always hot in the summer, this one is no different. We have been lucky and had fairly consistent rains. Everything is still green, wildflowers are in bloom and the fish are still biting. Temperatures have generally been in the mid to upper 90's. Yesterday we broke 100 for the first time this year. The Mid South will stay hot through September. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=Memphis&state=TN&site=MEG&textField1=35.1056&textField2=-90.007&e=0 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_Days Quote
