Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 9, 2011 Super User Posted July 9, 2011 Haven't posted my outings in awhile as nothing too memorable has happened, did catch 2 tarpon this week which is one of my favorites. Went off shore this morning, motor out to about a 100' of water and within seconds it starts to rain, a torrential downpour that didn't let up. As soon as the first line hits the water fish on and it was nonstop for the next 2 hours, I could only fish 1 rod at time as a fish was always on. We caught kings, bonita , tuna, nothing under 20#, except a few remora. Then within seconds of each other my buddy and I hook fish and were on the verge of both being spooled, at full drag these fish were unstopable. Dale's mono snaps like a thread and my 30# braid gets cut off on the engine....I'm one sore guy right now. Quote
