hookingem Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Today I had the pleasure of working the Day 1 weigh-in of the Northern Open at Osborne Landing. It was surprisingly hard work running all the bass from the stage to the Catch and Release boats. Did have the pleasure of meeting a few really cool guys including Ike, and Boyd Duckett to name a few. Thanks Sam for getting me the gig. Quote

hookingem Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Yeah I mean I would be super laid back to if I got to fish everyday Quote
Super User Sam Posted July 8, 2011 Super User Posted July 8, 2011 What was interesting was to hear the stories from the pros and other guys as to what happened on the Historic James and Chickahominy River during the tournament. Seems what happens to us also happens to them. Breakoffs, missed hooksets, can't find them; finding them in the last hour of the day; being late to weigh-in; dead fish; and other things that we encounter when we go fishing. Today should produce bigger bags as the weather has calmed down. You guys really need to attend these types of events, including the Bassmaster Classic and the FLW Championships. It is a lot of fun and you can meet and greet the pros who are avery nice guys. Quote
