I want to pick up a good minnow imitation for drop shotting. Anyone have any feed back on:

Roboworm Alive shads

Yamamoto Shad shaped worm

Tiny Fluke

There´s a ton of good baits from where to choose however the reason why I wouldn´t choose either of the baits you mention is that for me they are too small, I would rather pick Zoom Super Flukes, Bass Assasin Shad Assasin, Wave Worms Shaddick, LFT 4.5 Live Magic Shad, Yum Houdini Shad, stuff like that. If I were to D-shot with small baits ( hoping not having to ) then to those you mention I would add the same I mention but in smaller sizes.

The second two you listed are baits that have worked well for me.

I have been killing them with gulp minnows this year. There durability is some what of a issue for me since they are only good for a couple fish. I started using the bigger ones last week cause the BG and RES wouldn't leave me alone.

Shad Shape Worm is my #1 DS bait, far and away. I rarely use anything else unless it's a very specific case.

I like the Berkley power minnow. Similar in shape to the Gulp minnow but more durable and fish don't swallow it as fast. Doesn't seem to attract catfish as much as the gulp does either.

Catt doesn’t finesse fish ;)

Roboworm’s FX 6” Sculpin: Aaron's Magic - Green with blue neon stripes and brown belly.

Shh it’s a secret!

I second the jackall crosstail shad and anything from roboworm. I disagree with the post above that you have to go big on a drop shot rig. Some of the biggest bass I have caught (several ranging 6.5-8.5) were caught on very small baits and hooks... my biggest drop shot bass yet was caught on the tail half of a 6in roboworm.

These are the ones in the white bag that say hand-poured right? I think it is. They look amazingly real. That smokin ice is one of the best small minnow imitations I've ever laid eyes on.

Thank god there is someone else out there that realizes this.

I don't d-shot too much, but when I do, it's the Crosstail Shad

I have a few I like. Cross tail shad, Zoom tiny fluke, GYCB shad shape worm, Gulp minnow.

Flukes in several sizes

Roboworm 6" straight tails have always been a good producer

Lake Fork Tackle Magic Shad

Zoom Meathead

Bass Magic Shaky Tail

Rage Baby Craw

Shad Shape Worm (costs a few extra bucks though)

You can drop shot darn near anything and get bit, the ones listed above are pretty much my favorites though.

You can try with Berkley Powerbait 5", it's cheaper than yamamoto and more durable...
