Just think hard about what you want and where you put it. I'm in the trades so it's not a big deal, but I'll never be allowed to wear shorts to a jobsite. If you plan on some type of office job hiding it may be in your best interest. The only reason I say that is I do get funny looks from some people, and I don't blame them because some of the artwork is offensive.

It almost seems like this is starting to fade I'm noticing more and more shown tats in professions where you would normally think they woulmdent be allowed. But there are also some jobs that u can't have any visable. When I first started teaching I kept mine covered and one day the principle asked why I was wearing a long sleeve shirt in 95* weather and I told him to cover my tats and he laughed and said it was fine other teachers show there's as long as its not a naked women or swear words. My wife works for the same school just diffrent part she works with special ed and she has to keep hers covered which isn't hard because its her back piece.

But iv seen doctors and nurses with sleeves or even on there neck along with real estate agents. You would never expect to see it on them guys but your starting to along with sales reps I think its starting to be more accepted as long as its not vulger

Self expression. Rather you agree with it or don't everybody is different.Nothing wrong with it.

I have 7 so far...Saving up for a sleeve tattoo right now.I usually get my tattoos during the winter.I think they heal better and they stay out of the sunlight.

Also,I'm looking to get a tattoo on a smallmouth & largemouth. This will be a little later on but I'll eventually get it done. When I get a tattoo now it takes awhile for me to get it.I figure if I wait a year and I still want that tattoo I really will enjoy it.

How are you going to keep them out of water long enough to tattoo them?

When you get that done, post pics! I'd love to see that!

I got a tat as well. I posted a pic a while back when I got mine. Have always liked the arm bands but needed to personalize it to fit me. A couple of my buddies and I came up with my design. Gammy EWG hooks! Very pleased with how mine turned out! ;)

I got one in the center of my upper back when I was 18 or so. I drew it so I know there isn't another one like it anywhere. It is a circle, tribalish, the center of it is a painting of a sun I found in a book while researching my bit of native american blood. Then when I was in the army I drew another piece that goes above the circle, shoulder to shoulder and kinda wraps around the original circle. I like it and don't regret it. However the second one was done by another soldier, in a barracks room, in Korea. He did a good job as far as the drawing and such, but it has faded and needs to be touched up. I could have as many as I want, anywhere on my body, no issues with work. I freakin hate needles though!! I would like to get something fishing related but I haven't come up with anything good yet. I have always thought having one on my forearm would be cool, the outside of my forearm.

My name is Josh Clanton. I am 3rd Cousin 4th Removed of Billy Clanton from the Ok Corral Shooting. I am also direct descendant of Ike Clanton and Old Man Clanton from the Ok Corral Shooting. I have 3 brothers so we all have the tattoo of "Clanton" on our back from shoulderblade to shoulderblade in Old English Lettering. I'm thinking about getting a six shooter tattooed on each side of it. Just not too sure yet. I loved the feeling of getting a tattoo, if i didnt want it to effect my job i would get a sleeve and alot more tattoos.

Since you are going to go to college and have a career doing something in an office and make a lot of money, put the tattoo someplace where it can't be seen.

Some employers frown on tattoos, especially those that show when wearing a shirt and tie and you don't want to turn off prospective employers with a tattoo.

If you put it on your fanny then only you, the guys in the locker room, girlfriends and your wives will know it exists and you can see it in the mirror whenever you want. :D:D:D

I have always wanted one, I just like the way they look even as a kid I would beg my mom to draw stuff on my arms. Yet I am 29 and still don't have one. I just cant commit to one I like enough and the ones I do like would be way too expensive. I have a wife and 2 kids there are so many other things I would rather spend 500 dollars on that tattoo's just aren't even on the radar any more. My wife has 2 and wants a third but there again coming up with the money it just seems a waste.
