Homie the Loomis logo would look sick. Plus with fishing, unlike skateboarding (i got the Blind Skateboards reaper on my right shoulder) you can do it for most all your life. I might have to jack your idea for part of my leg.

You should man! My only concern is getting one that's too small. I want it to stand out. My friend got "Insert Here" on his *** when he was drunk, his college buddies did it.

That is hysterical. Get it with the fish looking up, and cover the whole outside of your bicep with it. The artist can resize the drawing before doing it, so you can see it in any number of sizes you want to. Also DO NOT get drunk before you get it. It will cause the tat to bleed ALOT when its being done. This in turn makes the artist mad, (it makes it harder for him to draw and get the ink in deep enough) and he will gouge the hell outta you with the needle. Ive had both my artist tell me they do this to people.

This is what Im going to get. It's sort of a tribal sea turtle with a image of a sunrise on its shell at the beach. It's gonna go on my right bicep. It represents my love for the ocean/beach.

Below is my drawing of it. I'd obviously have the artist clean it up and make it look better, and put color too the picture in the shell. I want the tribal part to be a fade from bottom left to be a sea green going to a cape blue in the upper right.

I personaly find tattoos on girls extremly attractive but not all tats and not all girls can pull it off. Tramp stamps are a no go and boobie tats are no go. Now chicks that got a bright colorful sleeve or half sleeve now that's sexy to me or some thing down the ribs onto the stomach. Is also hot. Back pieces are attractive to just not the tramp stamp like my wife has her two horses on her back drinking out of a pond with cat tails, dragon flys, and butterflys in it. Now that's a cool tat then she has a scorpion like mine but way smaller on her hip with my initials in it now that one I think is retarded and I wanted to kill her when she told me she got it done.

But I have also thought of the g loomis fish iv also seen it on the F&S outdoor tattoo contest page a few times. I joke with my wife I'm gonna get a tattoo of a hook or a whole lure hanging off my mouth I would never reallly get this done though. The neck face head and arse are all no go with me no way no how.

Tattoos is not something to bargin shop for u will get crappy lines crappy color premature fading do your homework with what ever artist u choose. Iv got some good buddies that do it out of there house and are great artists but what looks good on paper or some one who's good with a pencil isn't necisarly good with skin and a gun. I'm a pretty good artist but I wouldent tattoo my self that's for certain.

Yeah man. I'm not trying to get hep so I'm going to need to look some dudes up.

My cousin (who is really pretty) has some buddhist thing on her right hip up to her torso and down her thigh. She must have payed through the nose. It is GORGEOUS. Probably the best looking tattoo I've ever seen.

I got a tat when I was 18 of my passion at the time(racing) and highly regret it! I am curently looking at the process of getting it removed and it will end up costing my about 25x the amount to get it removed and they say it hurts worse! Think about it for a while....I thought it was the best idea since sliced bread when I was 18 and 10 years later it sucks!

WHY would you want to ? If you got one , why would you want to hide it ?

With that said , can anyone explain why they decided to get the body art ? :)

Self expression. Rather you agree with it or don't everybody is different.Nothing wrong with it.

I have 7 so far...Saving up for a sleeve tattoo right now.I usually get my tattoos during the winter.I think they heal better and they stay out of the sunlight.

Also,I'm looking to get a tattoo on a smallmouth & largemouth. This will be a little later on but I'll eventually get it done. When I get a tattoo now it takes awhile for me to get it.I figure if I wait a year and I still want that tattoo I really will enjoy it.

LOL. Whatever man. That post was absolutely ridiculous. What are you, four? 90% of your posts are under five words and are completely useless. Post some fish pics and we will talk.

They have been around forever, but have only become really popular in the last 10 or so years. Tat's were always associated with servicemen, bikers, convicts, and the dregs of society. At some point in time they became popular. Baby boomers were having midlife crisis' and needed to prove something by getting tat's and Harleys. The younger generation showing rebellion. Blahblahblah. IMO it is just a fad for most Americans. Same with body piercings, branding, and under skin implants. Sure, there will always be a certain few who continue with body mods, but the next generation will find something else that makes them "outcasts" What proves my theory is the fact that women get tramp stamps and guys get the tribal armband. There is nothing unique about that. People want to be part of the in crowd.(Exactly the opposite of why Americans originaly got tattoos)

Just think hard about what you want and where you put it. I'm in the trades so it's not a big deal, but I'll never be allowed to wear shorts to a jobsite. If you plan on some type of office job hiding it may be in your best interest. The only reason I say that is I do get funny looks from some people, and I don't blame them because some of the artwork is offensive.

I don't care for tatoos......on me. I don't stand in judgement what someone else is doing with their body, I'm not in the least bit bothered by someone's tat.
