oh boy are you in for a treat!! considering the size of lake george (big) it gets surprisingly little fihing presure. lake george is known as one of the top fishing spots in ny. on a good day you could get 20-30 fish easy. since its deep, rocky, weedy and has just about every type of cover known to man many tactics work. jigs, senkos, 3.5in yum money minnows, lizards, tubes, and grubs are all great their. smallmouth are plentiful their and im sure you'll be shocked as to how strong they fight. if you don't know how to fish a dropshot you should for this lake. bass por, tackle warehouse, cabelas and gander mountain are all reliable and have all the lures i listed. remember to study northern forage because it is slightly different than down south.
